Augusto (Gus/Toti) Verzosa is a highly-experienced operations, ICT & intelligence professional who has successfully provided consulting services to Australian Commonwealth departments and agencies since 2004. In the earlier part of his career, Gus was General Manager for Insurance Operations and ICT at Lippo Life (Indonesia) and a successful CIO at Sun Life of Canada Far East Division, Insular Life (Philippines), Jollibee Food Corporation International & Domestic Operations, ON Semiconductor Global Factory Operations, and the Department of Justice of the Philippine Government. For his work as a CIO, Gus was recognized as one of the top 100 CIO’s in Asia Pacific in 2001.
Sam Cruz has over 20 years experience in Operations Research (OR) and Corporate Planning. For 8 years, he was Assistant VP and Manager for OR of San Miguel Corporation, the Philippines’ and SE Asia’s biggest food, beverage, and packaging firm. He has wide skills in OR, financial, and statistical techniques, and has led project teams for hundreds of major OR studies, recommending decisions to managers of all levels, and generating billions of pesos in benefits. These projects involve capacity planning (manufacturing and distribution), investments, risk management, supply chain issues, inventory management, and forecasting. He is a seasoned lecturer on forecasting and optimization techniques to various professional fora.
